TeliaSonera Finland, the original long distance incumbent and local incumbent in some regions, is getting out of the payphone business. In Finland, the company has a little less than 2000 public telephones. These phones will be phased out by April 30, 2006. Usage had, of course declined with the rise of mobiles.
