James Enck poses an idea on his always interesting blog about desktop sharing of video across the net. Meanwhile over at Slashdot one of the posts elicited a lot of links to p2p video, video blogging, streaming and archive video sites and so forth on the net. They included mediahopper, vobbo, broadcast machine, coolstreaming (closed as I write this), internet archive, peercast, and ACTlab. The desktop sharing idea is one which would really take-off if live sport could be shared.
