An odd outburst by Nokia's chief of strategy that Skype can't survive with its current business model. I would have thought with virtually no costs and revenue accrued at the same time as they incur costs that Skype are doing fine. If they don't sell the mobile market beckons with further developments in wifi and wimax. Perhaps it is Nokia that need to look over their shoulder as inexpensive dual mode phones come onto the market at commodity like prices. The largest handset manufacturers, with the biggest customer relationships to protect with wireless carriers, are probably not going to be the first movers here.
